To register to vote in Wyandotte County, you must:

  • Be a United States citizen
  • Be 18 years of age or older (applicants who will be 18 before the next election are welcome to submit an application)
  • Be a resident of Wyandotte County

ID requirements when registering to vote

Kansas law requires all applicants for voter registration to provide their current Kansas driver's license or non-driver's identification card number on the application. If you do not have either of these, you must provide the last four digits of your social security number. 

Additionally, if you have never been registered to vote in the state of Kansas, state law requires that you submit proof of United States citizenship. See our page on the citizenship requirement for more information on this requirement
